Preparing for Change
At CAPAH we are preparing for the new Support at Home program coming in to effect on 1 November 2025.
From 1 November 2025, the Support At Home program replaces the Home Care Packages (HCP) program, providing easier access and more comprehensive care for ageing Australians who need support for living at home.
Key highlights of the Support at Home program:

Eight support levels with funding up to $78,000 yearly, plus two short-term pathways.

Quarterly budgets replace Annual budgets.

Clear service list so you can know exactly what support is available to you.

Price caps on services, starting approximately July 2026. Providers set their own prices until then.

0% capped care management fee ensuring you receive trusted, quality care that you deserve.
